Arch Cape Elopement

These two are the SWEETEST. I was so excited when they chose Arch Cape for their session.
I knew Arch Cape would be a killer spot to shoot a bride in her dress! These two drive large trucks across the country, and knew they’d be coming to Oregon. They reached out and asked if I was open to do some bridal style photos for them. They are Ukranian and are getting married in the Ukraine this year, but wanted some dramatic bridal photos from the coast. They showed up so full-of-energy, despite the fact that they were unlucky enough to visit Portland during the hottest weekend we’d had so far. Temps reached about 112 and they were stuck in their hotel, trying to stay cool, for almost their entire trip! Shockingly, when we got out to the coast, the temps dropped fast and it was about 55 degrees! They were so cold for the shoot, but did a great job of staying playful and fun.
We did a few pics at Oswald West, then headed down the road about 7 minutes to shoot at Arch Cape! I was blown away by Yarna’s dress! She found it online and said it came from Europe. Enjoy these sweet photos!
