Harry’s Fine Foods wedding in Seattle, wa
Some wedding days feel especially aligned with the people at the center of them—Erica and Sean’s was one of those. Their spring wedding in Seattle felt personal, intentional, and beautifully considered, much like the couple themselves.
Erica and Sean met while studying architecture. Their connection grew through a shared love of aesthetics and thoughtful spaces, and years later, they got engaged in Denmark—a place that, much like them, values simplicity and form. Knowing their background, I came into the day expecting clean lines, soft tones, and plenty of detail—and they delivered on all of it in a way that still felt effortless.
The day began at Harry’s Guest House, a warm and well-designed space tucked into Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. With vintage furniture, layered textures, and little moments of charm in every room, it offered a relaxed and visually interesting backdrop for getting-ready photos. The light was soft and natural, perfect for capturing the quiet moments between Erica, Sean, and their close friends and family before the ceremony.
Just steps away, Harry’s Fine Foods hosted the ceremony and reception. The restaurant’s cozy yet polished feel paired well with the day’s design. Villanelle Floral created sculptural spring arrangements that felt modern but not overly styled—florals that blended in rather than demanded attention. The color palette was gentle and the textures played nicely with the space.
What stood out most was how naturally the details spoke to who Erica and Sean are. From the subtle nods to Scandinavian design to the minimalist table settings, everything had purpose without being overly planned. It was a day that felt calm, personal, and grounded.
Weddings like Erica and Sean’s remind me that it’s not always about going big—it’s about making choices that feel like you. Their day was quiet in the best way, filled with warmth, design, and the people they care about most. I’m grateful to have documented it.
